About HTF

History

Honoring the Father Ministries was incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1996 as a ministry dedicated to spreading the gospel while encouraging and equipping believers.

HTF began as a "mentoring" ministry to Christian professional athletes who are ministers in an arena that most of us only watch from the sidelines.  Overtime, God birthed the idea of using baseball as a medium to spread the gospel in Cuba and instantly, HTF’s passion for world missions was ignited.

Over the past 21 years, HTF has ministered to over 1,115,000 people in Cuba, Domincan Republic, Ecuador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru & Venezuela with over 165,000 making decisions for Christ!

Today

HTF reaches thousands with the gospel of Jesus Christ each year.  This is accomplished by following Christ’s example - meeting people at the point of their need.  Whether through sports ministry, construction, feeding hungry children, or offering medical services, HTF reaches out with a loving hand that leads others to Christ.

HTF recently celebrated 16 years of ministry in Cuba, praising God for over 118,000 souls, 1,000+ Christian baseball teams, as well as soccer, softball and volleyball teams determined to win their island for Christ!  HTF supports these teams by distributing equipment & Christian materials, training and assisting with crusades.  A thriving clown ministry and a House of Restoration for recovering addicts were formed as a result of this ministry, as well.

HTF leads various ministry teams throughout the year to encourage & equip our brothers and sisters overseas. Great things are accomplished for the Kingdom! Recent projects include the construction of churches, a Christian school, and a warehouse for a ministry that feeds thousands of children each week. Other projects include youth crusades, medical clinics, and ministry leadership conferences.
